About Cheyanne: I grew up in Peculiar, Missouri and fell in love with volleyball from an early age. I played outside hitter/right side hitter my freshman and sophomore year of college at the University of Northern Colorado and finished my last two years playing at the University of Central Missouri. I love coaching and giving back to the game that gave so much to me.
Club Director Comments: I first met Cheyanne as a shy young 10 year old girl that made our 12U KC Southside Club volleyball team (Previous club we ran that we dissolved when we started having children of our own). She played for us for two years. As much as I hated to lose her I told her dad it was time she went to play for a bigger club so that she could play more tournaments and get the exposure she needed. She ended up as a standout athlete at Ray-Pec HS where she received all conference, district and state honors in volleyball. While in high school and college she still came back in the summers to train with my wife and I in the sand to improve her vertical and conditioning. She has blossomed into a strong young woman and is now a head varsity coach. We could not be more proud of her and we are excited about partnering with her to establish our club for young girls in our area. Cheyanne is the perfect example that while we are starting this club to better our own high school programs.... we even take girls that feed in to our rival schools and train them as our own for the love of the sport.
